Aeroflex Aeroflex black rubber insulation is made from synthetic EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber), which is flexible with low thermal conductivity. It is used for insulating air conditioning pipes, chilled water pipes, or duct pipes to prevent condensation. Its combustion is unlike plastic foam which produces smoke and flame dropping Chilled water pipes and cooling systems In chilled water pipe systems for cooling machines and air conditioning systems with low temperatures, when cold pipes come into contact with hot outside air, condensation forms on the pipe surface.
