It is strong, tear-resistant, weather-resistant, and used to cover glass wool or rock wool surfaces for thermal and sound insulation applications. HVAC System applications: Used to cover one side of glass wool insulation for lining air ducts to prevent fiber particles from shedding into the ductwork. Roof Insulation applications: Covers one side of fiber insulation to prevent fibers from falling into the building below. Installation is done with the glass tissue-covered side facing downward for aesthetic purposes. Sound Insulation applications: After installing insulation panels to walls, glass tissue is used to cover the insulation panels to prevent any fiber particles from shedding.
