INSU-BOND T789 Black rubber insulation adhesive is a NEOPRENE synthetic rubber adhesive with clear yellow adhesive texture. Can be used with all types of black rubber insulation and PE (Polyethylene) foam INSU-BOND T789 has the property that when dry it will not spread fire according to ISO 3795 standard contains additives that enhance bonding agents making it permanently adhere to black rubber insulation environmentally friendly safe no volatile substances free from lead and mercury INSU-BOND T789 meets ASTM C916-85 TYPE III standard which is the adhesive standard for air conditioning system work (Standard Specification for Adhesives for Duct) Instructions for Use Galvanized duct pipe surface must be dry and clean free from oil stains Apply INSUBOND 789 adhesive to duct pipe surface and black rubber insulation Wait for adhesive to dry slightly then press insulation to adhere to surface Note Adhesive should be stored in well-ventilated areas away from flames.
